NCF in the Community

Since March this year, the Neuro Connection Foundation has been quietly working away on a community outreach program – directly engaging with local health care groups – to share our story and empower more people with neurological conditions to achieve greater independence. These groups have included, hospitals (and their neuro wards), medical centres, other rehabilitation providers (such as Rehab Plus), physiotherapy clinics, as well as both senior net and age concern networks. This outreach has also extended to relevant national support services, such as the NZ Disability Support Network, whom we look forward to working with.

While the foundation is fortunate enough to continually attract new clients through positive word of mouth; we still have so much to do in growing our client numbers and attracting a spectrum of people across various demographics. This outreach program will continue to operate into the new year, where we will engage further-afield communities in order to help those he need us most. We look forward to sharing our progress with you.
