Community

Within the Neuro Connection Foundation, we pride ourselves on working hard to ensure our client community receive the best care possible - socially, mentally, emotionally and physically. We hold regular social events on our calendar to ensure a high client engagement. More widely, as an organisation, we work to align our projects and services to the needs of the community.

NCF engages the services of both stakeholder and client advisory groups. These groups make up most of our community, to ensure the organisation helps those who need it most.

The Stakeholder Advisory Group includes: Stroke Foundation, Cerebral Palsy Society, Multiple Sclerosis Society, Parkinson’s NZ, Auckland District Health Board and Waitemata Trust.

The Client Advisory Group includes: General Practitioners, Physiotherapists, Stroke Foundation CP Society, MS Society, Parkinson’s NZ, Staff at Waitakere Hospital and Friends of NCF.

We also work hard to develop key relationships with Funders. Long term, we aim to establish partnerships with this group to support key projects, that result in positive community outcomes.
