NCF Story

First established in 1992, the organisation began under the name Auckland Conductive Education Foundation and was chaired by Hungarian-born Frank Schwanner. It eventually changed its name in 2008 to the Integrated Neurological Rehabilitation Foundation (INRF).

In December 2017, INRF re-branded to the new name of Neuro Connection Foundation (NCF). The foundation has both an incorporated society and charitable trust status and delivers its service in the community through vital support from the Ministry of Health.

NCF is the only provider in the Auckland region specialising in the rehabilitation of neurological conditions for adults using the internationally renowned Conductive Education (CE) approach. Our values of being inclusive, committed, empowering and ethical underpin everything we do.
